Job Requirements:

Candidate must be of high moral and ethical character, use data to drive instruction and have the ability to integrate digital curriculum.  Be familiar with Article 7 and state guidelines in regards to students with special needs.  Possess knowledge of special education principles, testing and methods, federal and state laws.  Be able to provide accommodations and push in/pull out resource services for students in grades K-6.  Become familiar with the IEP program to create individualized plans for students.  Candidates must coordinate with administrators and other teaching staff to ensure students’ IEP’s are compliant.  Applicants must encourage parental involvement in students’ education while having open communication with students and parents.

Job Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a valid Indiana teacher’s license and be highly qualified.
